About
Dalit is a Registered Dietitian with almost 20 years of experience treating clients with eating disorders. Graduated with a double major in Nutrition & Dietetics, and Psychology and received her master’s degree in counseling psychology at Columbia University in New York City. Dalit has worked in all levels of care including inpatient/residential, developed and directed the Evening Intensive Outpatient Program at the Eating Recovery Center, and worked with professional athletes such as the Red Sox baseball team. As the current President of the International Academy for Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp) Miami Chapter, Dalit focuses on both training professionals as well as raising awareness and prevention at local schools. Dalit is currently working from her outpatient private practice in Miami treating patients with eating disorders.
NUTRITION THERAPY
My double major in Nutrition & Dietetics and Counseling Psychology were just the beginning of years of training, allowing me to create the perfect blend for practicing Nutritional Therapy.
This means that while our primary focus will be on your nutrition, we’ll also consider other aspects of your daily life, such as stress management, emotional intelligence, sleep habits, and more. You’ll learn to recognize the emotions behind your food choices, navigate challenging negative thought patterns more easily, and begin to build a life free from food- and weight-related obsessions.
By integrating nutrition and psychology, we can create lasting habit changes. Together, we’ll explore your beliefs about food, your behaviors, and your inner dialogue, while deepening your understanding of what food truly means to you. I’m here to support you every step of the way!
